As the Devils walked onto the field they knew it was going to be a hard game but they couldn't give up. The first few minutes of the game were tough on the Devils as the Falcons scored five unanswered goals. Although the Devils weren't taking the lead, they never gave up, tackling back and scoring their first goal of the game. Minutes later the Devils were able to keep themselves in the game by scoring another goal. Both Emily King and Bridget Szawlowki were able to put the Devils on the scoreboard.

The Devils continued to work hard but the Falcons continued to push back and rack up the score. The Falcons continued to work hard and work their plays against the Devils in the defensive end. With a series of passes and cuts with picks, the Falcons managed to always have a girl free in the center of the eight-meter arc. As the first half came to a close, the Devils were feeling the pressure but weren't ready to give up. Ha;f-time score 2-9.

After the half-time huddle the Devils were more determined than ever to not let the Falcons run away with a victory without putting up a fight. The Devils pushed back in the second half creating more pressure on the Falcons behind the goal and even on their passes. There were many ground ball battles but it seemed that Minnechaug always came up strong. The Devils were able to put past another two goals, one by Erin King and the other by Julia Sullivan. The Falcons were able to add another five goals to their total to make the final score, 4-16 Falcons.
