    • making data tables - sharing with the teacher
    • doing preLAD for hwk
  • Clicker Questions PRS A1 (slides 1- 7)
  • PER 3 − no meetings, (PER 4 - Soph meeting 12:45-1:15, Fresh at 1:15)

Outside of class you should, (All documents are located on the appropriate Unit's documents page.)
  • Fill out the More Information Sheet and the Lab Safety contract on the back, and bring it in on Thurs
  • Read and do the PreLAD for LAD A.1 - Copper Chloride (I will check the PreLAD questions, and your data/results table on Thurs − which counts as part of your lab grade) NO NEED TO PRINT. We do have Chromebooks in class this week.
  • Over the weekend
    • If you have not finished your practice tests, please do so and be sure that they come with you to class next Tuesday - if you have any questions about problems on any of those test, I will expect an email indicating which problem(s) you would like to go over.
    • Email me with specific question numbers from any other summer review that you would like me to go over in class on Tuesday.
    • If you learned from your practice exams, you should be ready for a quick quiz on Tuesday.

Thurs Aug 31

  • Hand in Safety Contract on Center Lab Bench and P A1 - Nomenclature
  • Check and review preLab for LAD A1 - Copper Chloride Hydrate
    • data/results items
    • heating to a constant mass?
    • why should we have cooled the dish and inside a desiccator?
  • Start LAD A1 - Copper Chloride Hydrate (stopping after procedure #6)
  • Sig Figs clickerQ’s A1 (slide 8- )

Outside of class you should,
  • LAD A1 - Hydrate
    • Fix up your data table as necessary / Process the Data
    • You can add in your SAMPLE DATA and get going on your calculations
    • Working on the Post Lab Questions 6 & 7
  • Over the weekend
